Johnny goes National, and Hardcore
It really seems like eons have passed since our Sputnik inspired debut into the world last October 4th with the first of our Public Holiday Project series. Finally I’ve taken the time to sit down and catch up on some JTTC blogging while I procrastinate some impending deadlines. This post also finds the club having really gone national now with me now residing on the East Coast and looking for a new set of recruits and HQ.
The first new Johnny to our Two Tone cause has been my old buddy Mr Dion Waterman of Shout Out Loud Print. Being much more schooled in the ways of punk rock history than the rest of us, Dion was good enough to inform me that we got our JTTC logo around the long way. I hadn’t realized that one of our logos (we like to use a few), was referencing the infamous New York Hard Core logo, only incorrectly. After a bit of research it turns out he was right on the money. So in the interest of introducing our Eastern chapter and being Hard Core sensitive, I’ve given the logo a little make over.

November 3, 2010Ah but what you don’t realize Gemma is that you have already been recruited and you didn’t even know it. Leah and I have been negotiating the terms of your membership – mostly just that we need you and you’re in!
I’ll drop by the shop sometime soon and give you on the lowdown on everything.
